TSC has provided in-home counseling for individuals, couples, and families since 2007 to 13 counties in the metro Atlanta area and TeleMental Health for Georgia residents. TSC focuses on "Strengthening The Foundation For The Family." www.TheSutherlandCenter.com We know families sometimes struggle to connect. We utilize a solution-focused therapy approach while creating new emotional experiences and supporting families with identifying and strengthening their "Families Foundational Five."
Evening and weekend appointments are available. However, no insurance plans are accepted. All families are self-paying. Healthcare spending accounts are accepted. TSC can offer a monthly detailed superbill or after-every-four sessions receipt upon request for out-of-network (OON) benefits (TSC suggests that families check with their insurance company’s policies on filing for insurance reimbursement). You should submit the receipts for reimbursement to your insurance carrier; however, TSC cannot guarantee repayment. Please keep in mind that insurance companies require a diagnosis. You choose a man or woman national board certified/licensed professional counselor. In addition, a husband-wife team facilitates couples therapy. For couples, TSC utilizes a solution-building couples therapy approach, building upon positive emotional connections and creating new emotional experiences. TSC provides an environment of hope where two people can connect, communicate more effectively, and create healthier relationships. TSC is only providing TeleMental Health (Virtual) services for Georgia residents.
TSC will discuss the fee structure during the free phone consultation. TSC's initial appointment (maximum of four people) is for 90 minutes. Individual therapy is for 60 minutes. Couples therapy is for 60 minutes and facilitated by a husband-wife team. Family therapy (maximum of four people) is for 60 minutes. The fee for each session is due at least 2-hours before the scheduled session.
