The Sutherland Center, LLC (TSC) provides in-home counseling to 13 counties in the metro Atlanta area and TeleMental Health for the entire state of Georgia; counseling services for individuals, couples, and families since 2007. You have the choice of a man or woman licensed professional counselor. Also, couples therapy is provided by a husband-wife team. During this time, only TeleMental Health services are being offered. Evening and weekend appointments are available. TSC focus is to “Strengthen The Foundation For The Family.”
Individual counseling supports in gaining insight, awareness, and develop solutions for your Ideal Life.
Couples counseling will provide a safe place where two people can reconnect, communicate more effectively, and develop a healthier relationship for your Ideal Life.
Family counseling is designed to develop effective communication skills, create connections with significant people, provide new ways to reach solutions, and to gain insight/awareness for greater family harmony for your Ideal Life.
TeleMental Health/Video Counseling
By utilizing technology, families can receive quality counseling sessions from the privacy of their homes. This service will meet the needs of those who have difficulty finding a therapist in their area. PLEASE NOTE: This service is only available to families who maintain residency in the state of Georgia. Families will engage in sessions in a private location in the state of Georgia where you cannot be heard by others.
Payment is due the day service is provided. The Sutherland Center (TSC) accepts cash, Cash App ($DRALJRTSC), Zelle (is the primary form of payment), credit cards, health savings account, or money orders; TSC does not accept insurance. TSC can offer a detailed monthly superbill receipt upon request for Out of Network (OON) benefits. This receipt can be submitted for reimbursement to your insurance carrier, however, TSC can not guarantee reimbursement. Please keep in mind, insurance companies require a diagnosis. Appointments must be canceled/rescheduled, by phone, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. If the cancellation/reschedules are not conducted within this time frame, the client is responsible for the full session fee.
