Couples therapy will provide a safe place where two people can connect, communicate more effectively, and develop a healthier relationship for your "Ideal Life." We utilize a solution-building couples therapy approach. Including supporting couples with identifying and strengthening their "Families Foundational Five."
Family therapy supports developing practical communication skills, creating connections with significant people, providing new ways to reach solutions, and gaining insight/awareness for greater family harmony for your "Ideal Life." We utilize a solution-focused family therapy approach. Including supporting families with identifying and strengthening their "Families Foundational Five."
TeleMental Health/Video Therapy
By utilizing technology, families can receive quality counseling sessions from the privacy of their homes. This service will meet the needs of those who have difficulty finding a therapist in their area. PLEASE NOTE: This service is only available to families who maintain residency in the state of Georgia. Families are encouraged to engage in sessions in a private location in the state of Georgia where others cannot hear them.
Payment is due the day service is provided. The fee structure is discussed in our initial phone conversation. The Sutherland Center (TSC) accepts cash, Zelle (is the primary form of payment), credit cards, health savings account, or money orders; TSC does not accept insurance. TSC can offer a monthly detailed superbill receipt upon request for Out of Network (OON) benefits (TSC suggests that families check with their insurance company's policies on filing for insurance reimbursement). You should submit the receipts for reimbursement to your insurance carrier; however, TSC cannot guarantee repayment. Please keep in mind; insurance companies require a diagnosis. The diagnosis is within the superbill receipt. Please get in touch with us for more information and to schedule an appointment.
Families should cancel/reschedule appointments by phone at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. If the cancellation/reschedules are not conducted within this time frame, the client is responsible for the entire session fee.
