TSC has provided in-home counseling for individuals, couples, and families since 2007 to 13 counties in the metro Atlanta area and TeleMental Health for Georgia residents. We utilize a solution-focused therapy approach while creating new emotional experiences and supporting families with identifying and strengthening their "Families Foundational Five. Evening and weekend appointments are available. TSC is only providing TeleMental Health services for Georgia residents.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy supports gaining insight and awareness and developing solutions for your "Ideal Life." We utilize a solution-focused therapy approach.
Couples Therapy (Facilitated by a Husband-Wife Team)
Couples therapy will provide an environment of hope where two people can connect, communicate more effectively, and develop a healthier relationship for your "Ideal Life." We utilize a solution-building couples therapy approach, building upon positive emotional connections and creating new emotional experiences. Including supporting couples with identifying and strengthening their "Families Foundational Five." During the initial couples therapy session (90 minutes), we will start together, then there will be a breakout session for the women and the men to speak, and then we will return together.
Family Therapy
Family therapy supports developing practical communication skills, creating connections with significant people, providing new ways to reach solutions, and gaining insight/awareness for greater family harmony for your "Ideal Life." We utilize a solution-focused family therapy approach. Including supporting families with identifying and strengthening their "Families Foundational Five." During the initial family therapy session (90 minutes), we will start together, then there will be a breakout session to speak with the parents and then a breakout session to speak with the child(ren), and then we will return together.
TeleMental Health/Video Therapy
By utilizing technology, families can receive quality counseling sessions from the privacy of their homes. This service will meet the needs of those who have difficulty finding a therapist. PLEASE NOTE: This service is only available to families who maintain residency in Georgia. Families are encouraged to engage in sessions in a private location in Georgia where others cannot hear them.
Payment
Payment is due the day service is provided. The fee structure will be discussed during the free phone consultation. The Sutherland Center (TSC) accepts cash, Zelle (is the primary form of payment), credit cards, health savings accounts, or money orders; However, no insurance plans are accepted. All families are self-paying. TSC can offer a monthly detailed superbill receipt upon request for Out of Network (OON) benefits (TSC suggests that families check their insurance company's policies on filing for insurance reimbursement). You should submit the receipts for reimbursement to your insurance carrier; however, TSC cannot guarantee repayment. Please keep in mind; that insurance companies require a diagnosis. The diagnosis is within the superbill receipt. Please contact us for more information and to schedule an appointment. TSC's initial appointment (maximum of four people) is for 90 minutes at $315 - $335. Individual therapy is for 60 minutes at $255. Couples therapy is for 60 minutes and is facilitated by a husband-wife team at $275 - $305. Family therapy (maximum of four people) is for 60 minutes at $285 - $315. The fee for each session is due at least 2-hours before the scheduled session.
Cancellation/Reschedule Policy
Families should cancel/reschedule appointments by phone at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. The client is responsible for the entire session fee if the cancellation/reschedules are not conducted within this time frame.
